I was curious to see the store, especially as it opened just after I had written an article on the Jermyn Street Arcades. Earlier this month I visited with Harvie and Hudson, one of the great shirtmakers of Jermyn Street. An article about Harvie and Hudson has been one of the most requested whenever we write about shirtmakers. I too was curious, because though I have bought ready-to-wear shirts from Harvie and Hudson I did not really know their history. So here is a long article, covering the shirtmaking (of course), their other clothes, their service and a little bit of their history.
